This programme connects the art of two great German musicians: Bach and Telemann! Intimate friends, though dissimilar, they are today counting amongst the greatest composers of their time. The extraverted, inquisitive and witty traveller Telemann was in his time much more famous than the now-a-days highly appreciated Bach, on his own account an extraordinary improviser and a passionate, sedentary and introverted pedagogue.

Although their temperaments couldn’t be more different, they both attempted to enlighten mankind and show the deep meaning and beauty of life. The flexibility and delicacy of one, is the powerful fervour of the other. Both invite us for a dive into the depths of a music that expresses the presence of God on earth, as well as in heaven...
