ORDA-2017 offers a masterclass for (pre)professional recorder consorts and two masterclasses for soloists. Applications will be processed in order of arrival, provided that the candidate fulfils all requirements of level and repertoire. To secure your place, please apply as soon as possible.

Daniël Brüggen became world famous with the the Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet. Their impeccable approach of recorder consort playing had an enormous influence on next generations. Daniël's ensemble coaching is inspiring and will open new horizons to young professional recorder consorts.

ORDA offers a masterclass for advanced soloists. Pedro Memelsdorff is director from Mala Punica, an ensemble specialised in Medieval repertoire, and is also known for his numerous CD recordings including the iconic "Delight in disorder" with early English repertoire. Take your chance to get inspired by this Grand Master of early music.
Daniel Koschitzki is founding member of Spark-The Classical Band. This fantastic recorder player presents classical music without borders, and he received an ECHO Klassik for Spark's album Downtown Illusions. For recorder players from intermediate to advanced level Daniël presents a masterclass focussing on romantic to modern classics for recorder solo, recorder with piano and recorder ensembles. Although we encourage participants to come with their own accompanist, ORDA can also arrange a professional pianist to accompany some of the candidates.
