Do you want to know more about professional recorder studies? If you are considering pursuing a degree in recorder, this is the chance to meet teachers from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, get information and ask any questions you may have.

Jorge Isaac, recorder professor at CvA, will introduce the many opportunities offered by the BLOK education system, an all-round study with great success stories. He will also teach short
masterclasses to interested students and hold a short group lesson – please bring a 440 alto if you would like to participate. Jorge will also answer questions about repertoire, technique and, of course, about studying in Amsterdam!

Hester Groenleer, recorder teacher of the Junior Department of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam ('Sweelinck Academy') will introduce the curriculum that this institution offers to young students: approach on teaching young talent, consort and chamber music, music theory and coaching on various subjects such as stage presence. Students between the ages of 9 to 17 and their parents/teachers are warmly welcome!
